OOo WPS integration pack 1.0.1 resolves all critical quirks of the initial release !

Hi all,

just double checked with a re-installation and found that the OOoWPS
installation bug was fixed in version 1.0.1 (basically WarpIN now
automatically selects the right installation directory)

Also, drag and print works 100% as expected now. Yeah! Great work.

Some minor things could still use some polishing, though. Details (as in the
original review):

Cheers
Andreas

Hm. Works here. (Just tried with a *.ods file, as I usually don't use file
extensions with OOo/2 ;o)

Cheers

Yes, indeed!

I see so far only a minor thing. I'm not certain, if only my
system is impacted by it.

The issue is that I can select the OO classes for files from
the settings notebook but I don't have any OO templates in the
template folder. The StarOffice templates are there.

Does anyone else see the same problem?

Am I the only one who now gets

Support Agreement for OpenOffice.org for eComStation and OS/2
is required in order to open, view or print this document

when double clicking on a .ods file? The weird thing is that when
selecting Open As -> Spreadsheet from the context menu instead, OOo
normally opens?!

I downloaded the update from Mensys, so I guess I still have that
support agreement (not sure how I can check). But even if not, why the
heck would that be checked at runtime by OOWPS (but not by OOo itself?),
and how does it check that?

And they were there before you installed OOWPS?

I also do not have the OOo template in the templates folder but only
because I removed them from there (didn't like to have these large files
on my WPS and I found that I wasn't using them anyway).
