Why is print dialog fixed in 9.27, but not in 9.50 betas?

I still do not get the print dialog in build 4758, Mac OS X Leopard.
Known Issue?
If so, why is this solved in 9.27, but not in 9.50b?

After all they use a different code base in many areas so fixing it in one  
of them does not necessarily mean it's fixed for the other version aswell.  
However this is on the known issues list for Kestrel (see  
<http://my.opera.com/macteam/blog/2008/02/22/new-kestrelsnapshot-4669>), 

so this will also be fixed in 9.50 at some point.

OK, thanks. I expected different code bases, but also thought that if the  
solution is available for one version, just share it with the developers  
of the other version.
Basically, I expected it to be implemented quickly in 9.50 since the  
problem is solved for 9.27.
