Version

I get a message box that pops up telling me "File not found" when I
visit
certain sites.

Can Anyone tell me what is happening here and how to fix it?

Thanks

No good. There are only three boxes checked html documents in file types
and http/https in protocols. The box popped up whether I had the three
checked or no boxes at all checked.

When I open an HTML-file from Windows Explorer,
without Opera running, I get a dialogue box saying
that it cannot find the file or one of its components.
After a short while Opera starts up displaying the
file. Dunno why. Maybe this is related to your problem.

Using: Opera 9.21.8776 on Windows 98SE.

Try to reassign file and protocol types handled by Opera.
Preferences, Advanced, Programs, Details, uncheck all, Ok; then check
what you wish.

I unchecked them all, closed Opera, checked "HTML documents",
closed Opera. No difference.
