Hi all!
Open the following testcase
http://bogus.ovh.org/testowy/margin_testcase.html in a narrow
Opera window. Scroll to the right. Highlight a row, then another row.
You will see, that the left area of a viewport is not redrawn. Scroll
to the left. The newly drawn viewport is ok, but there is still the
invalid rectangle.
The width of this invalid rectangle is equal to the <body> left margin
(currently set to 5%). The page displays properly in both FF and IE7.
Opera 9.22/8801 and 9.21/8776 under WinXP SP2
Please confirm, whether it happens to you.

Confirmed. (I'm assuming here that by "highlight" you mean to hover
over the row rather than select text with the mouse, and scrolling
left requires use of the cursor keys.) No matter how the screen is
scrolled horizontally, the highlighting starts at the same offset
from the left side of the window as it does when scrolled fully left.
Opera 9.22 on XP.
