| Opera 9.5 - Window Content Not Drawn |

Hi!
I have a very annoying problem with all the Opera 9.5 betas since
about December. If you link a link or type in a new URL the page is
loaded but the window content (canvas) is not redrawn at all. If you
scroll the page down the new content appears. It is also possible to
mark everything or switch to annother tab and back again, but it's
very strange behavior.

1. Don't just say Opera 9.5. I'm running Opera 9.50 build 1834 static
(.1) i.e. O9.50-1834(.1)
2. What is you setting for Preferences -> Advanced -> Browsing ->
Loading?
3. If you 'shade' the Opera window and 'un-shade' the window does the
data appear?
Note: Most Window Managers (WM) 'shade' a window when you double-click
on the WM icon portion of the wondow.
Give a clear example of your/Opera's failure pls.

Sorry, the problem appears at some weekly build in December. Don't
remember which number exactly and exists still then in all builds.

Redraw after 1 Second. Tried different settings, no change.

Yes. Whatever forces the canvas to redraw itselfs let the content
appear: shade/unshade, minimize/restore, switch tab -- even moving the
window out of the screen.

Sorry, try to give my best. Maybe my environment is helpful: Ubuntu
distribution, Xorg 7.3, Nvidia propertary drivers 169.07 (self-
installed, not from distribution). GNOME desktop.
Thanks in advance,

I am not having the problem, but vaguely remember it in a prior beta, a few
years a ago. Try increasing, or decreasing the DefaultColorDepth, in
/etx/X11/xorg.conf, and see if that fixes it.

No, also doesn't help.
