Using Opera 9.24 Build 3707 on OS X 10.4.11.
When I right click on a blank area of a webpage I can bring up Edit
Site Preferences. I'm looking at Ebay which crawls when Javascript is
used. But it would be nice if Javascript was disabled automatically
every time I go to Ebay. Is this possible? I disabled Javascript in

What do you mean with 'Its still there'? If you disabled it in the Site
Preferenfes or ebay.com, it is disabled.

When I click Opera Preferences, Advanced, Content, its Javascript is
still checked. But if I disable Javascript with my keyboard shortcut,
its unchecked. I can also tell by the speed. Ebay pages take forever
to load with Javascript on. With it disabled they load acceptably
fast.
Also when I click on the Menu Bar: Opera, Quick Preferences,
Javascript is checked. But when I use my kb shortcut its not.
Likewise when I enable it. So it should be a good indication if
Javascript is presently enabled or disabled.
I sure hope Opera will work on Javascript more so its not so bogged
down with it. Firefox handles pages far faster. But Opera is a such
a better browser that I find my Javascript shortcuts (Alt_J for

If you disbble it in the Site Prefs for a site, this doesn't get reflected
in the general Preferences dialog, only in the Site Prefs dialog. People
have asked for an indicator somehow that Site Prefs are active on a
webpage, we currently don't have that.

Now if I disable it in http://ebay.com will that mean everything on
ebay.com will have Javascript disabled? Because that ain't happening
now! The pages take about 5 times as long to load with Javascript
