| Georgian Unicode not working on 9.26, but 9.5 is fine |
 |

Hi folks,
I don't seem to be able to be able to make opera 9.26 (or below) display
Georgian unicode, but 9.5 is doing it fine.
Font preferences for Georgian says 'no fonts available', while every other
soft on the system has no problem whatsoever with Georgian.
Thanks in advance.
Mamuka

Opera 9.26 works fine with my Windows Vista Business. It can display
Georgian Unicode pages, and the expected Georgian fonts are listed in
Preferences.

Sorry, I did not notice that the original question was in the Mac newsgroup.
I don't think Mac OS X supports Georgian, at least not in 10.4.11 (I don't
have 10.5 yet).
I have the Code2000 font installed, and I can see Georgian Unicode pages,
and only Code2000 is listed in Font Preferences.
Which version of OS X are you using with Opera 9.5 that allows you to see
Georgian?

Mac OS X supports Georgian. You need to download Georgian language kit
form the apple web-site, install it and it works. Every single program
recognises Georgian afterwards, and as I've explained even 9.5.

Mamuka
Is this the one you mean?
kit.html>
It is not an official Apple product. Have you tried contacting the
producer?
