Hi,
I have been Opera for quite some time now. Recently, I have been
having a few problems.
The first is when I try to log into Gmail using the secure address
(https://mail.google.com/mail). I enter my userID and pwd, but it
takes me to a page that says "Moved Temporarily - The document has
moved here". The 'here' is hyperlinked, but clicking on it will not
take me to the inbox and neither does copying the link and pasting it
in the address bar. I have seen this happen with some other pages also
that lead to the "Moved Temporarily" page. I have automatic
redirection enabled in the browser, so I don't know what is causing
this and how to get around it.
I've been having some trouble in selectively allowing cookies in some
sites too. I have cookies disabled, and only enable them at some
specific sites like gmail and yahoo. However, when I log in at these
pages, I get a message saying that cookies must be enabled.
The other issue that I have been seeing over the past 2 days is that
scrolling through .pdf documents is painfully slow. I have Adobe
Reader 8.0, and all was fine till the day before. From yesterday,
scrolling has been so slow that Opera has just been stuck many times
and I've had to kill it. I am able to open the same .pdf document just
fine directly through Reader and through Firefox.
Any thoughts on any of these will be greatly appreciated!
