    This one: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=9f0_1207258560
On my system, Opera uses 99% processor while playing the video.

I tried to look at the video and discovered the following.

The play was unintelligible, and I paused the video and let it
download into the cache.

I then ran GSpot and discovered that the video uses a On2 VP6
codec. More specifically GSpot said "FVL4/VP6" and "Flash On2
VP6"

VP6 sucks. That's the essence of this problem. The codec trades
higher data compression for more cycles to decompress in the
client CPU.

As result, viewing the streaming video with older machines simply
doesn't work and even recently new machines may give marginal
results when you add the cycles for decompressing and playing
concurrently. VP6 consumes a lot of cpu power that not everyone
has.

Because the codec is proprietary you can play the video only with
embedded Flash Player. Other players, stand alone, will not play
the video.

VLC Player will play the codec. However, I have read that doing
so violates intellectual property rights, patent presumably.

Youtube uses FLV1 and Flash/Sorenson. It uses less compression
but works generally.

I could not play this video on my system with VLC player. It
maxed out the cpu and the video didn't play. I got sound only.

For $600 to $700 you can buy a new computer that should play it.

If, like me, you don't have $600 to $700 for a new computer, you
can complain to sites using it and tell anyone who will listen to

    I did too.
    I can run that FLV with MediaPlayerClassic that comes with K-LiteMegaCodec;
it doesn't use so much processor.
