Happens to me all the time, maybe once every 5 minutes or so or less.
Opera just freezes up for maybe 15 or 20 seconds.
If I scroll wheel it while it's frozen, after it thaws it will scroll
as far as I scrolled while frozen.
I tried increasing the disk cache (which has empty on exit checked)
but that didn't change anything.
I am using the USB version, or I'd be on 9.5 (waiting on 9.5 final,
come on, baby!!)
Ted
XP SP2 9.27 USB
And it just happened as I was typing this...

On this website:
http://bassistance.de/jquery-plugins/jquery-plugin-accordion/
It stalls for a few minutes, but in the end opera does not crash.
It's totally frozen though, and not usable.
I thought it was javascript related, but I experienced the same problems
with javascript disabled and reloading the page.
When I reload the page with javascript disabled AFTER restarting Opera
(clear cache, cookies etc) there are no problems, only when i enable
javascript.
Can someone confirm?
BTW, no problems in 9.50
Opera 9.27
WIN XP

I can confirm the lockup, but I'm only seeing 50% cpu.
I'm experiencing the same behavior on a number of sites. Sometimes, though,
I get high cpu usage, but not a complete lockup. Scrolling is very slow, as
are renderings. Both 9.26 and 9.27 on WXP-SP1 w/3GHz cpu and 2Gb ram.

Well that's totally different, probally you have a lot of mail or
newsgroups checking every 5 minutes. Lower that somewhere or differentiate
the checking time.
I'm speaking about total unresponsiveness due to a specific site:
http://bassistance.de/jquery-plugins/jquery-plugin-accordion/
100% cpu for a few minutes, so taskmanager is thinking opera has crashed.
So again, can someone confirm before i report.
