Hi,
I am pretty new in the Opera world. I am RTFM'ing a lot but I did not find
an answer to this question: how do you import contacts from Thunderbird
into Opera e-mail ?
Thank you very much

"File" > "Import and export" > "Import mail"
is another route,
but IMO it is a bit misleading and questionable of the User Interface
to list the importation of all sorts of other things in the main
"Import" menu
(including other products' bookmarks, favorites, and "Opera
contacts")
while hiding any other "import contacts" under "import mail"
--
after all, "contacts" is not equivalent to "mail,"
and I can well see why a new users' search can be frustrating,
as I was myself unable to find it, until reading Ken Knox's answer,
even though I thought I was pretty familiar with Opera.
Ken's reference (above) arrives at the same place
only via first asking to create a "new" email account,
something that might never occur to anyone who had already set up his mail.
I have also had many experiences where trying to find information
in the web-based Help system was quite unfruitful.
Opera is a great product, once you know intimately how it works,
but it's still hard to get to that point, especially to find out
how to do anything that isn't at all obvious.
