Poor threading in News, 9.25 on 10.5.2

Hi.

After having used Thunderbird for three years I got fed up with memory
leaks and started to use Opera's built in Mail and News clients.
One thing the News client does very poorly when compared to Thunderbird,
is keeping/retaining messages in threads.

Is there anything I can do to make it behave better? I have looked through
Prefs. for anything obvious, buut..

T.i.a.

No. Threading agrupation is a must have. Never has worked fine, incluiding
with those news servers that maintain the cross references ok. An be
carefully with some attached binaries that does Opera to consume thousands
of MB of ram and processor time.

Sometimes Opera forgot download some messages. Sometimes it looses
messages (they are in the store but not shown)...

Definetively mail/news support in Opera needs an improve.

Threading has historically been weak in Opera, especially if you subscribe
to many or busy newsgroups. I believe it is better in version 9.5,
currently in beta testing, however.
