I prefer the list above, you can see more detail, and it's easy to scroll
the list when needed.
I move the seperator up so there is only 3 messages showing in the list,
that leaves a lot of screen for the message.

There is a little "down arrow" at the right of the "From"
address line, to
select the ID you desire.

I'd like to switch my email client and
i've heard a lot good about Opera.
There are, however, two certain options
that i can't live without and i wonder
if i can get help finding them.
1. Email body to the right of the email
list (as opposed to below).
2. Multiple identities in the same
client (there are two of us using the
computer but having different accounts).

Is it a polite way of saying that there's
no such option? :)

I think i was unclear, sorry. I mean "two
accounts", as in "two inboxes".
Thanks for the info!

Shouldn't be, because there is such an option :)
See the 'view' button on the mail window toolbar.

You really should use separate Opera installations in that case, or better
yet, separate Windows logins...
There is a way to select from which account(s) to show messages. But
people tend to forget they change this setting, and then then they can't
find their messages anymore... Anyway, see the context menu of the Mail
panel. In the Appearance dialog (get it by rightclicking on the mail panel
toolbar for example) you can even get a dedicated dropdown selector to
drag to the mail panel toolbar.

Or press "I" some times ;)

This could be because Opera don't has the selection drop list in the
default toolbar...
