more appropriate context commands for Notes text

more appropriate context commands for Notes text
Thu, 6 Dec 2007 06:27:38 +0000
example:
in regular browser window (eg, a webpage) I can select an url
(http://blah.com/foo/blah-foo.html) and when activate the context menu, it
offers to "go
to web address".

however i can select an url in the text of one of the Notes, and context menu
doesn't
offer to "go to web address".

other stuff in Notes context menu:
1 "insert personal> edit" huh? up pops a dialog to config teh wand.
?

2 "insert notes" ? is that to insert another note into the selected
note? i didn't feel
daring enought to try. :-)

3 and at bottom of context menu, "create search..." seems to do
nothing.

btw, though i think of Notes as a quick temporary dump, the "new
separator" and
perhaps "new folder" can occasionally be useful for quick organizing.

The bottom half of the Notes panel is a basically an edit field, where you
get the normal edit menu. I agree that for this case, a smaller more
appropriate context menu would be more useful. We don't offer 'go to web
address' for any text field, I'm not sure of it would be feasable to add
that.
