this "nomerge" problem is an apparently universal defect of readers.
i've not (yet?) found a good reader that will merge identically duplicate
articles/urls
from multiple feeds.

small note 1: i am 'newbie' feed reader user. as of now opera seems better than
a few
i've tried, which were: greatnews. sage (in firefox). I've avoided many readers
based on
descriptions and reviews.
small note 2: the english definition of the word "aggregator" imples
to me what should
be basic capability of feed readers to avoid duplicating feeds articles. so i
did not
expect this nomerge problem exist(s|ed).
