| Custom "Personal Bar" icon |

I use the personal bar for various Javascript bookmarklets such as Post to
Del.icio.us, E-Mail This, and TinyURL. Since they are all Javascript, they
do not have a favicon. My personal bar looks like this:
[Icon]... [Icon]... [Icon]... [Icon]... [Icon]... [Icon]... [Icon]...
[Icon]... [Icon]...
As you can see, it's not very easy to find the bookmarklet I want when
they all have the default icon and no text. I have to hover over each one
to find what I'm looking for. If I could assign my own icon to them from
file, I could quickly find the one I want at any time.

It should be possible to edit the bookmarks file directly in a text
editor, and add/change ICONFILE entries for specific bookmarks:
ICONFILE=bookmarklet-one.png
See 'Help > About Opera' to learn the location of the bookmarks file. The
'iconfile' values should point to icon image files in the 'images' folder
under your profile folder. I haven't tried this myself though.

Do you have a wide screen? My workaround was to put the personal bar on
the right. It helps keep lines of text on fluid web pages to a good
readable length.
The personal bar also has options like show extender menu, but that
relegates some shortcuts to needing an extra click.

Unfortunately, no. My display at work is 1280x1024 and at home it's
1152x864 (CRT limitation).
I looked for a way to make folders like the Opera one as that would be a
nice option, but I don't see that as a possibility, either.
