Just wondering if anyone uses Opera's web-based e-mail.
Yahoo stopped sending me my daily digests because of messages bouncing
back to them. I've had my Operamail account for almost four years now and
this is the first real problem problem I've had. I tried a few test
messages and it seems OK now.
Wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem in the last few days.
I saw something on the Opera web site about their changing hardware and
e-mail handlers. Maybe that's it.

I've had a 'Premium' account for years, and it has worked very reliably
since the service was moved to 'Outblaze' in (I think) 2002.

Have they told you exactly what 'bounce' response they are getting?

Not here, that I'm aware of.

I hadn't noticed any significant reduction in spam that gets through to me
on my Operamail address, so I don't think the spam filtering can be much
more aggressive recently than it was before (if there was any at all - the
web site makes no mention of it that I can find).
There's a 'contact form' link at the bottom of
<http://www.opera.com/support/operamail/>.

Thanks for the reply. Obviously, I don't come back here to check very
often. 8-/
I did copy the error message to Operamail. They sent it right on to the
Outblaze folks and pretty quickly everything was back to normal, except
for a few missed messages.
One hiccup in four years isn't bad at all.
As for spam filtering, Operamail is better than my server-based, pay
e-mail.

Good.

Pretty damned good, compared with some :))

Yahoo's spam filtering is fairly good.
