Pirated Vista for below $1
Microsoft spent millions of dollars advertising its next generation OS 'Windows
Vista' in China, in fact the IT juggernaut threw up the biggest Vista Ad on the
421 meter high Jin Mao tower in Shanghai China. However after 2 weeks (Jan 19 to
Feb 2) from launch Microsoft managed to sell a mere 244 copies of Windows

I once saw a disk of virtually all Microsoft client products being sold for ~$10
or thereabouts in HK.
Enough to make any MS employee see red, esp since that is $$$ that would never
go to support MSFT - the company or the stock.

Talking about Piracy, Check this out,
Cori Hartje, director of Microsoft's Genuine Software Initiative, holds up
pirated copies of Windows Vista and Office 2007 that she obtained for less than
$10 apiece on the black market during a December trip to Sao Paolo, Brazil. The
street vendor even warned that the copies might not work very long, since
Microsoft was likely to invalidate the product keys used.
