I have attempted to install AD Users and Computers on Vista but the install
fails. Any ideas?

Josh has a blog post on how to install the Windows 2003 SP1 Admin Pack on
Windows Vista :

"Installing the AdminPack.msi Adminpak.msi installs without error on Vista
RTM computers but two DLL's, ADprop.dll and DSadmin.dll fail to register. Use
regsvr32 to manually register those DLL's, otherwise Active Directory Users and
Computers (ADUC / DSA.MSC) fails to load correctly with "MMC could not
create the snap-in..."
Is this what you are having problems with? Also make sure to disable UAC in
Windows Settings ->Local Policies -> Security Options.
