"smtp" is not valid IP name for a host (unless it is on your intranet
and you have the proper cascade of domains configured in your TCP to
complete the domain qualification - not likely, especially if you use
DHCP to get dynamic setup from your ISP).

Reread the instructions from the e-mail provider on how to configure
your e-mail client.  So, do you actually have a PAID account with
Microsoft to gain access to their SMTP mail host?  You sure that your
