Address Book

I need to re-construct my address book

When I receive a message, can I automatically pick up the sender's e mail
address and have it automatically added to my Address Book?

Thanks

The following from Outlook Express Help, it explains what can be done.

To add names directly from e-mail messages to your address book

You can set up Outlook Express so that when you reply to a message, the
people you reply to are automatically added to your address book. In
addition, any time you send or receive a message in Outlook Express, you can
add the recipient's or sender's name to your address book.

To add all reply recipients to your address book

In Outlook Express, click the Tools menu, and then click Options.

On the Send tab, click Automatically put people I reply to in my Address
Book.

To add an individual name to your address book from Outlook Express

In a message you are viewing or replying to, right-click the person's name,
and then click Add to Address Book.

In the message list of your Inbox or other mail folder, right-click a
message, and then click Add Sender to Address Book.

You can enable Tools, Options, Send, Automatically put people I reply to
in my address book.

Then START a reply to a message, then X out if the message without
sending. The person gets added when you start the reply, sending the
message is not necessary.

If you right click on the sender, you will see "Add sender to address
book".
Left click on that and it will go into your address book. Is this what you
meant? Not sure if you can do it for all senders automatically, but that
would be a nuisance, as you would then get all your Spam in your address
book and then would need to delete them indivdually. I think this is better,
as you can choose who to save. Good Luck!
