In PSP 7.0 first open a pic to be used as the mask. Don't forget using this
method, the picture to be masked does NOT have to be the same size as the
mask! (This is demonstrated by the attached!)
Now save it click on Masks> Save to disk, and type the file name.
To use your new mask, open the picture to be masked. Click on Masks> Load
from disk> mask name.
8.0 is quite different you need to as before open the picture to be made
into the mask, then click on Layers> Load/ New Mask Layer> From Image.
To save it you click on Layers> Load/ Save to disk, then you type in the
name of the mask.
I wish I could help you if you have the 9.0, but so for I only have the two
and want to learn more how to use those before I get the new version!! ;-D
As for your mask with the fuzzy border, here is one. If you have something
else in mind please let me know, I have a sizable collection, if I don't
have it, I know where to find it! ;-D
