Hi, I'm Dr. Jinx What, and I am this group's moderator. One of my
responsibilities is to let all of you know what all can and can not be
posted. Things such as copywritten stuff such Disney and the likes. If you
have a question concerning if something has a copywrite issue, then ask. If
I don't know the answer, I can connect with someone who can.
First of all, the main idea of this group is to have fun, and share the
fruit of our joined graphics passion. As I have read below a poster's
signature, "PSP isn't an addiction, it's a lifestyle". This is the
place to
enjoy our lifestyles and perspectives here, with not just what we make from
the our own masks and examples, but double masking is allowed. The attached
is a good example.
Now for the nitty gritty.
This is the part where I mention the posting size requirements for those
still trapped with dial up and their tiny sized posts the can open. But
until I get requests otherwise, this restriction is lifted!
It also helps to keep when you are making multiple posts, is to make an
inital post, and thread the rest from it. An index would be very helpful, if
you are posting multiple masks and their examples. This is not require but
handy. Not only will you be able to keep your threaded posts together, it
will also help to place them with the correct thread. This is speaking from
experience.
NOW BIG NO, NO! PLEASE! I beg you, do not post the following!
1. Copywritten material, such as from places with big legal guns such as
Disney and the likes.
2. This is a super neato place! If you have an issue with a fellow poster,
then please contact me by my e-mail addy. What I am asking is this. Please
DO NOT FLAME ANYONE FOR ANY REASON! If there is a problem with a poster, it
is my job to take care of it. After all, I am a type of e-caretaker of this
place in e-space! The same thing with spammers, I can have someone who can
handle them toot sweet! NO nasty flaming of them either. But that doesn't
mean you can't make any goofy anti-spam masked graphics and share them! :-D
3. At this point in time, I have no restriction on the number of masks you
post. The same is true concerning your examples! If however at some place in
the future, when there is ton of postings. Something will be brought forward
for discussion.
4. Lastly and most importantly, have fun! The more you play with your PSP,
the more you learn, and it becomes your lifestyle. The stuff you make and
share as well as what you snag from here can be used only with your
computer. Printed out on different kinds of projects. Such as the background
or focal point for a greetings card. Or it could be something that is cut
out and made into something like a decorative bird house printed onto card
stock or velum!
5. If you have any questions concerning how something is done with PSP, just
ask. We have posters here whom have different versions, and can help! After
all, that is a part of our name, tut!
