| OT - contest is winding down this week... |

This contest is winding down quickly. I managed to clarify some issues with
SMCU's Marketing Dept. regarding "public domain" images, etc. Now I
know that most of my designs will be OK, and that is a big relief to me. So I
am not sorry that I submitted as many entries as I did. It is up to them to
decide which will be acceptible in the final analysis, so I think my bases are
more than covered now.
CJ (marketing) was very helpful. I did explain in detail how I work with Paint
Shop Pro to create these designs and knowing that information will be very
helpful to them in determining what images are and are not acceptible. They
told me that if I edit a public domain image 70% or better, then it becomes MY
artwork! So that's a relief!
The page is updated with new graphic designs, and I think you will like these.
I have used photos, graphic designs, and other things (used themes also) and
this covers a variety of subject matter. Let me know what you think. There are
50 or so images on this page now.
Marketing says that the judging is done in 2 parts. First, the judges review
all entires and pick the best five entries. Then SMCU members vote online for
the one they like best. The contest winner will be notified not later than
February 28th. I wonder if any of mine will make it to the final five! That is
the question here. I have no idea how many entries they have to sift through.
And they are MUM on the subject <G>

HA! wouldn't that be nice, eh? <G>
The contest was open to SMCU members only, so that narrowed the field down a
little. But I really think that I increased my chances by submitting as many as
I did. How do you like these two, eh?

I think the top 5 should ALL be yours - then you don';t have to worry who votes
for which one :)

I LOVE owls :)
However, would prefer wording similar to - it's wise to bank at SMCU. Just me
being a p.i.t.a. LOL
