| Ok I have a problem here :( |

Seems either my psp is messing up or my puter is slowly but surely dying.
I'll be working in psp, then when trying to name a layer, or save an
image........the shortcuts start interfering. Like, I type an o and the
tool options toolbar disappears. This is very aggrevating.
I remember it being a memory issue, but usually my memory is at a good level
when this happens. Since I do not use keyboard shortcuts in psp, is there a
way to disable them period?
I've looked thru the help and searched online with no results.
Help!!!!
I'm pretty sure a reformat would fix most of the issues, but we cannot find
the xp disc for this computer :(
And it might even be my computer period, lol.
But any help is appreciated............tired of typing a capital 'i' instead
of 'l', lol.

That works too, works for any version of psp. Sometimes the cache gets
corrupted, when it's deleted it starts rebuilding the next time the
program is opened.

Thanks everyone........and the name is Kasta :P
In psp7 the cache is under the psp program files, but I found one under the
app data too, left over from an installation of psp x, I bet you a dollar
that was what was messing things up, lol.
I knew they were for psp x because the extension was .pspcache, lol.

That is the cure for sluggish PSP. ;o)
Shasta, all you need to do is (a) navigate to the PSP Cache folder
(typically this is C:\Documents and Settings\your account\Application
Data\Jasc Software Inc\Paint Shop Pro 7 or 8 or 9\Cache). You can always
find the Cache folder by clicking File > Preferences > File Locations and
click on the tab for Cache . . . . . the location is displayed as a path on
your computer's hard drive.
(b) Select all and delete.
You will only lose recent history otherwise you won't miss the Cache
contents or even notice it has gone.
You'll find PSP will speed back up again and even load more quickly.
