PSP XI upgrade or not?

Hello everyone,

I am thinking of upgrading my PSP 9 to XI and was wondering what new 
features or pitfalls are included in the new version. I love PSP and still 
use v7 too, but not sure if I should spend the money for XI or not.

 From what I've read I wouldn't, supposedly this version is more for 
photography but you might want to check out the corel news groups,

I mainly use PSP  to edit photos and for me it's absolutely terrific.
The vector tools are easier to use in other versions, however.

I had heard it was great for photos, but I only take pics a couple times 
a year, if that.  I reformatted a couple weeks ago and hadn't gotten 
around to subbing to the corel news groups, did so last night and was 
surprised to see the name of the XI newsgroups is PaintShopProPhotoXI

Thank you for the reply. I use PSP for just about everything from photos, 
screen captures for manuals, some vector work but not much. I've learned 
quite a bit using the software, but mostly from all of the great tutorials 
I've found on the Internet. Anyway, thanks again.
