how is the TX showing age, though? it is still quite a good pda. the
Os work well, wifi and BT work well, WiFi security is supported. the
only missing things is SDHC support, but that will be fixed soon.
besides that what more would you want from a PDA?

Oh I completely agree with you there, the TX does have everything I want
in a PDA.
When I said that the TX is showing its age I meant the actual units are
now after 3 years of daily use starting to look a bit battered and
increasingly I am getting reports from the users of the dreaded
Digitizer Drift (in some cases the normal recallibration does the trick
but others don't even come back from a factory reset). This wouldn't be
to bad if we could replace them but our UK suppliers are saying that
Palm TXs are difficult to get hold of?
