Hello there !!!
I am a mac user using Leopard as system software.
I have just ordered an upgrade of Photoshop CS3 but the version of photoshop I
have is older than V7. Is there a way round this ?
If I purchase Photoshop Elements V6 could I upgrade to CS3 ? I know it's
possible with 3,4 and 5. If anyone can advise that would be great otherwise I'll
ask Adobe to send me the full version.
Regards

Problem converting Offline Media (archived files) from PE4 to PE6
I have recently upgraded to PE6. In PE4 I had an ordered list of Offline Media
(archive disks) that contains all my archived images. When I attempted to
convert my Catalog, PE6 put all my archived files into one HUGE file (as it
happens it put everything into the very first archive disk on the Offline Media
list) and so it lost track of where each file belongs.
When I tried to retrieve any of the images PE6 asks me to Reconnect the file to
the original archived disk. When I try to Reconnect individual thumbnails to the
correct Archived disks, PE6 puts the thumbnail in the correct Offline Media
folder but it no longer has the "archive" sign on the top left hand
corner of the thumbnail - so it has lost track of where the archived image is
kept any way.
I have deleted and then re-converted my PE4 Catalogs several times with the same
results.
