Corrupted Printhouse M 4 - Family-friends

Had Printhouse Magic3 (includes Family and Friends) installed and running on 
XP. Had hardware failure, so I had to switch out disks (non-system disk). I 
now get the "error in database path" message when Family and Friends
try to 
launch - it will not function properly. I've tried uninstall/reinstall  with 
no change. I tried rebuild registry using the Windows CD, also made no 
difference.

Any ideas out there?
- any key places to look for residual Corel PHM files which might prevent a 
clean install?
- any ideas on how to fix the database path error?

I've seen some references elsewhere to similar problems with Borland 
database engine, and believe the path to this is the problem. But those 
references suggested editing the path under Autoexec.bat - which doesn't 
seem to exist under xp.
