Service Pak won't install

Service Pak won't install
Tue, 26 Feb 2008 19:00:31 -070
I have WPX3 and have downloaded the Vista serive pak. But, the SP won't
install. It says that the program I am trying to update is missing from my
computer. But WPX3 is there! Actually, WP seems to be working OK. But I
can't en QPX3. I get a runtime error message. Anyone else have this
problem and if so were you able to fix it? Corel support has been useless
on this issue.

Try replacing the workspace by holding the left shift key down while
click the qpw.exe icon.

Ted,

You could also try a repair of your WPOffice X3 installation, before
running the patch. Put the WPOX3 installation CD in its drive. Do
Windows Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/remove Programs. Click on
WPOffice X3, Change, and click the Repair option when you are offered an
option.

If those ideas do not work -
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=295823

Run it, select the app whose installer details you need to
remove, and hit the Go button.

Then reinstall afresh.

I find also

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

which appears to lead to the same file, does not cause confusion
by referring at length to M$ Office products, and confirms
compatibility with Win95 through WinVista.
