| "Restored" window not visible |
 |

Greetings,
I'm suddenly not able to see QP in a "Restored" window. If I
"Maximize"
the window, I can use the program without a problem, but if I want it to
take up less than the whole screen, the window disappears (there's still
a tab in the Taskbar). This seems like more of a Windows problem than
QP, but I'll start here.
I'm using XP Pro with SP 2 installed, and QP 12.0.0.602. I'm not having
the problem with any other program, including other WP Office 12 Suite
programs.
Anyone have a Windows tip to fix this?
Thanks in advance.

No luck :-(
When any of my program windows are maximized, Windows won't let me
resize them. I need to be in "Restore" mode to resize.
I've also tried "Move" and "Size" using the right click menu
from the QP
tab in the Taskbar, hoping that enlarging it might bring it into sight.
No luck on that either.

With it not visible, right click its icon in the task bar and choose
size. Use the arrow keys to see what happens. You may want to
experiment with an existing window of something else first to see how
this behaves. eg, to make it taller, right click and choose size. Up
arrow once moves to the top of the window succeeding up arrows makes it
taller. Any other arrow cancels the operation. At least that's what I see.

Try: with the window Maximized, drag the sides to produce some handy size.
Then Max/Minimize/Restore may work properly again.

Is this for only qp windows or all windows?
Try booting to safe mode.
