Are you sure? Check the button to the right of f(x). There should be a
drop down arrow. The quick sum is just one feature that it does.
If you can't find it, you can always right click it to restore it to the
defaults. Or, edit it and add it. Ask if my first suggestion does not
work and you need help with either of these two methods.

QUESTION:
1] Check the button to the right of f(x). What is the f(x) element of
which you speak , and exactly where is "it" located on the tool bar ?
I
cannot find "it".
2] If I cannot understand "it" and cannot find "it" ,
please instruct me
as to how am I to "Edit or Add or Restore "it"., Please ?
Thank You.

You have probably misunderstood my original question i.e. "I have no Quick
Sum" icon to deal with in your solution advice namely "If you use the
little arrow (bottom R of the QuickSum icon) to

Thank you.

So, none of your Notebook icons have a drop down arrow? It is a
multi-function button so the icon is what was last used which may not be
the Greek character Sigma (sum). If no button has a drop down arrow,
you have deleted it. If you like, you can attach a screen print at
wpuniverse.com's Other WordPerfect Office Programs forum if you want
someone to see what you have.
To export the Notebook toolbar:
Right Click it > Customize > Workspace > Export > select it and
save.
To reset it:
Right Click it > Customize > Notebook Toolbar > Reset to Default
To add the Sum button to a toolbar:
Right Click a toolbar > Customize > Toolbar Item > Properties > Set,
Commands=Insert > Select, Sum, button and drag and drop it to a toolbar >
OK
To reset all but loose your toolbars and modifications:
Click QPW.exe icon on desktop, press left shift key, when prompted,
select yes to replace workspace.
