| Cannot Eliminate New View |

I have two views of a spreadsheet. I want to eliminate this second view.
"Help" says that:
"To remove an extra view, click the Close window button at the top-right
corner of the window. If you click File Close, all views are closed because
all views of the notebook are saved as the same file."
When I click the close window button at the top right corner of the window,
it closes the entire file, having the same unwanted effects is if I had
clicked "File Close".
Is there anyway to eliminate the second view?

You clicked the top right x. Click the x below it. If you can't see
it, tile the View and click that x.
OR, press Ctrl+F4 to close the current view.
