QPW crashes

Using QuatroPro 9.0.0.883 under Windows 98SE I have an annoyingly 
persistent but intermittent problem which seems to occur at random with 
any of my spreadsheet files:

when I attempt to edit a comment in a cell I get a "QPW caused an 
invalid page fault" message - details are as follows:

Even closing Windows & rebooting doesn't always clear the error.

Does anyone have any ideas please?

A general thought - not specific to your problem.  I was running QP in 
WinME a few years ago.  It would always crash.  (ME would always crash, 
QP would make it crash much sooner!)  I changed video drivers and the 
system became much more stable!  (now the system only runs Linux and 
never crashes, at least not yet)

To help, please do: Start|Find (or Search) Files and Folders and report 
every instance of MFC42.DLL and MSVCRT.DLL on your system.

For each, please report the version number. To find it, right-click the 
file icon, choose <Properties> and click the Version Tab.

This is a list that another user found: it is the sort of thing that we 
are looking for.

Yes, ME was (even) worse then 98SE.
