Which version of WP9? Help; About 9.0.0.????

Which version of windows?

The "standard" fix is to rename the default template with WP closed,
then it will open and create a new one. Mine is at:

  C:\Documents and Settings\Rich\Application Data\Corel\PerfectExpert\9\Custom
WP Templates\wp9US.wpt

The above is one long line where "Rich" is my login name and the
"US" in
the fileid is your language setting. This is on W2K with WP9-sp4 (883).

For older wersions of windows or older versions of WP9, search for it.

Ignore this post, I thought he was having a WP problem.

When I attempt to open QP9, I get the usual blue intro window, then a long
pause, then I'm asked whether I want to send the error report. I've tried
uninstalling and installing, also the Left Shift key noted in the knowledge
base with no luck. Please help!

Try moving the files you find under Win2K and similar
(maybe elsewhere under Win98, certainly elsewhere in earlier OSs)
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application
Data\Corel\QuattroPro\9\Config
to some backup folder.
