Once again I have stumbled into something and can't seem to locate the
right keywords to turn it off.

When I open QP to "Notebook1.qpw", there are blue lines outlining a
box
from A1 to K60 and continueing down and right from there. I seem to
recall that Excel had something like that to show print margins, but
trolling help on print margins and variations got me nowhere. I did
recently import several Excel files and convert them to QP. No blue
lines there, just on new files.

I recall a process with QP cfg files similar to erasing the WP template
and letting WP create a new one, but can't find the QP cfg files except
"QP_EN_bars.cfg" and "QP_EN_sbar.cfg". Renaming those did
not fix the
problem, nor were new ones created. They are both in:

 C:\Documents and Settings\(me)\Application Data\Corel\Quatropro\9\config

Would someone who knows more than I do please jog my memory (or kick me
in the butt if its that obvious). :-)

Just switch your view mode from Page to Draft view, aka "the blue-line
disappearing act."

Happy New Year,
Uli

Thanks Uli, That did it. Never realized there were the 2 modes in QP
although I use them all the time in WP.

I must have been stuck inbetween the two for some unknown reason. When
I went to the "view" menu, neither was checked. And the display was
inbetween the two, not showing the page margins, but showing the blue
lines. Its working correctly now, and I will add page mode to my QP
data store.

Happy new year to all.
