Just from what I have heard, only X3 will work with Vista.

Thank you for responses. I think I will stick with WinXP and use the QP8.
We are checking into purchasing new laptops, but haven't heard anything good
about Vista, but now Dell lets you order with the XP. I currently use QP7
and only have limited problems with it in XP but works great with Win2000.
Any suggestions where to purchase WP Suite 8 that isn't version 8.0.0.153?

Try ebay. You definitely do not want 153. It cannot be updated, and is
too buggy to be useful. It is tricky to remove, a necessary step before
installing a newer build. Any of the newer builds will work, as they all
will accept SP7, which is a cumulative update.

Some users report success with v12.

I suppose: try it and see . . .
