can't move powerclip objec to new frame?

I have a rave file that has powerclipped objects as rollovers (images inside 
non-rectangular shapes.)

The problem is that if I try to insert frames before frame 1 where the 
rollovers were created, the powerclipped images all disappear.

Any ideas how to insert frames (moving the rollovers containing powerclips 
from frame 1 to frame 10) without losing the images?

I can't even paste the rollovers from frame 1 in one document to frame 10 in 
the new document, or the images disappear. I can paste from frame 1 in one 
document to frame 1 in another document. I'm obviously missing a property 
setting somewhere. Help!
