Does anyone know if there is one MS article that addresses the
transition from WRMS 1.0 SP2 on Windows 2003 to AD RMS on Windows
2008? Or it doesn't matter, and just swithch the service. I couldn't
find any information on MS site to talk the migration or transistion
about these two services

Hi this is what worked for me,
1. Upgrade server to 2008
2. Start Server Manager, pick Roles | ADRMS and choose Complete installation of
ADRMS
3. Continue through the wizard
At least one thing that comes to my mind, be sure to backup the RMS config
database as it changes. And you cannot use (at least I think so) AD RMS and WRMS
1.0 SP2 together in one cluster.
Well and I found at least something about the upgrade
http://technet2.microsoft.com/windowsserver2008/en/library/b8c24098-9f3b-4ba1-a3
4c-21e9308814c21033.mspx
And be sure to test the upgrade in a non production evironment first :).
