| Will RMS do what I need? |

Hi, please excuse me if this has been asked hundreds of times before
but searching the groups has failed to answer all my questions...
I have a client that has SBS 2003 Premium running fine, I have
installed RMS (SP2) on their server and done some basic testing and
all seems working fine internlly.
The issue is, can the client send internal Office 2003 documents to
external sites not part of the domain/AD of the company, and apply
restrictions, so that the external sites cannot then send the
documents to other computers and people without the clients
permissions?
I beleive the email address of the external sites needs to be in the
AD? Do I just create a user and set their email address? I also
guess I need to setup external access to the RMS server so we dont
need to establish a VPN for external sites when opening these
documents ?
One last question, regardig licencing - Do I need an external
connector licence if I am just allowing access to a couple of external
sites? Can I just licence the couple of external sites without paying
a fortune for the external connector licence, or is this required to
expose the RMS server to the internet?

Hi,
You can publish RMS over the Internet and create account to external users.
You can also specify a Live ID account (.NET Passeport). By this way, an
external user can open a document.
