SELS 10 instalation error with ISO # 2

Hello

i downloaded the SLES-10-CD-x86_64-RC3-CD2.iso 5 times so far and keep
getting error in this media especially when it comes to the package (efont-
unicode-0.4.2-19.2) it says cant be found! Then when i ignore it then the
remaining 136 packages in ISO # 2 don’t install and i end up with n
graphic interface at all, all is text base OS with the two eyes on top
keep following my mouse move!!

Any way i tried to run MD5sum on this ISO 5 times and its ok nothing wrong
with it as MD5sum tells so what’s the problem then??? What’s going on with
ISO # 2 ?? i downloaded 5 times and cant manage to install the SLES 10 at
all, although the installation of the SLED 10 went very smooth and my
system with SLED 10 is up and running fine except for the wireless car, so
where is the error!.

Been waiting for SELS 10 for ages and now can’t install it what a
disappointed feeling i have really folks!!

Waiting for help please

I had a similar issue but it was with Disc1. I had to abort my install and
re-download Disc1. The second time all worked fine. Not sure why Disc 2
keeps failing for you. ONe other thing I also do is make sure that when I
burn the image to CD I use the Disc-at-once method rather than the
Track-at-one method.

Don't think I'm being sarcastic, but did you check the MD5 checksums?

SLES-10-CD-i386-RC3-CD1.iso 38c6dc5ebbdb2aaa84fc8fb12fceb35a
SLES-10-CD-i386-RC3-CD2.iso e65adad5571c8c0b2069ef4efe0fc50a
SLES-10-CD-i386-RC3-CD3.iso f5c786b8e513b71c66a62576134b5841
SLES-10-CD-i386-RC3-CD4.iso 26f471594a1ba4474c148de3e05f4f48

SLES-10-CD-x86_64-RC3-CD1.iso 0120df7572ae6006d58ff81d52f93e2f
SLES-10-CD-x86_64-RC3-CD2.iso c722a2dcaa3b8c3c54d0fd3bfac4b4d4
SLES-10-CD-x86_64-RC3-CD3.iso 5645489b81d21eb5a8163d8d085fe39f
SLES-10-CD-x86_64-RC3-CD4.iso 5c228a7cb63c7ea6b236530da850ec88

You should at least then be able to narrow it down to a badly burned
disk, or a badly downloaded ISO.

Personally I always use Disc-at-once for all burning of ISO 's.
