Hi,
Thanks for your suggestion..
- Its a DVD ROM drive.(But the OS is burnt on a CD.)
I would like to add few points...
(*) I Made all settings in the boot option for i/p,o/p & error devices
(*) Added a boot option to boot from CD (as a first boot option)
(*) When it start booting from CD, I am getting a "text" based GUI
showing the options:
Installation
Installation - Safe settings
Manual Installation
Rescue system
When i select any of these options (i tried selecting all..!!), it starts
uncompressing Linux & den Loading file initrd... till this time it reads
from CD, After that it just stops reading it..
Is it a problem with Monitor/VGA am using...??? or the problem with
CD/DVD ROM...??? and one more thing is... that server is having RedHat
Linux previously installed...
Thanks,
Praveen
