sles10b frozen for a little moment
Mon, 10 Jul 2006 13:34:36 GMT
If I copy large datafiles on my sles10b-system (64 bit) the server stops
between the work for 10 - 30 secs - the command i.e. 'cp' is 'frozen'.

I think - at this time works 'pdflush' and I get with 'hdparm' following
output :

 HDIO_GET_32BIT failed: Invalid argument
 HDIO_GET_UNMASKINTR failed: Invalid argument
 HDIO_GET_DMA failed: Invalid argument
 HDIO_GET_KEEPSETTINGS failed: Invalid argument

/dev/sda:
 readonly     =  0 (off)
 readahead    = 1024 (on)
 geometry     = 8923/255/63, sectors = 143347995, start = 0

server:
-  Tyan VX50 B48881 QuadOpteron
-  4x AMD Opteron 875
-  RAM 8x 2GB ECC reg. PC400
-  1x LSI MR SATA300- 8x
-  1x ICP GDT8546RZ

Is this a bug in sles10b or another bug?
