| Will SuSE EL be supported? |

The preview looks very good. Will it be possible to just buy support for
a system on which the preview has been installed and configured, use
YastOnlineUpdate to patch it, and keep using it?
Or will the system need to be re-installed?
Other than the packages included in the preview, I've done a
Configure/Make/Install of Subversion 1.3.2 (which worked fine, and
Subversion seems to work fine on a standard install).
Thanks for you help,

Glad you enjoy it! I assume you're referring to SLES10.
The evaluation version is the full and complete version, with a 90 day
update key. When you buy SLES10, you get a more permanent update key, so
yes, you can absolutely upgrade an evaluation version to the full
version seamlessly.

Justin - Thank you for your quick response! Do you expect that it will be
officially released within 90 days?
I've got some (well and solidly behind firewall until the release
is "official") boxes to deploy and I'd just as soon start them off on
SLES
10 to avoid messing with them later. They have 9550SX RAID controllers on
them which have problems with 9 but run beautifully on 10.
Our newer boxes are Opteron Dual core - Does a dual CPU server using dual
core CPUs count as 2 or 4 CPUs?
We have SLES 9 servers that are presently under maintenance with upgrade
protection will it make sense to upgrade them to 10 when it's out?
(they're running fine, at this point).
