Trying to install SLES 10 RC3 from cd on a test server. When you get to
the installation settings screen where it shows software package
selections it says "no catalog found". This is after it shows
"evaluating package selection".
I checked the md5sum on the downloaded iso and it was correct. Is there
something wrong with the iso or is this a hardware thing?
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Sorry Doug:
I had same problem with SLES 8. Never got it to work - at least not on
PPC. Trying SLES9 now; new problems ... so trying SLES10 RC3 using the
DVD iso images. Your message doesn't make me hopeful....

After loading an installation file of 88880K (burned DVD images) got a
"an error occurred during the installation" message.
verifying the DVD now, but that may take a while. at 7% now.
PPC version

I have tried two different machines, both i386. I got the catalog error
before when I was trying a Suse net install, and got around it by
downloading the dvd iso. I may have to do that again.
Good luck!
