| Transaction number missing in Release batch |

After creating my Journal Transaction I can not see the batch number to
release it.
I go back to Journal Transaction look up the transaction number and it shows
up. But for some reason I cant release it in GL release batch.

Have you tried releasing it directly from the Journal Transaction screen?
What is the status of the batch set to?

Batch status is set to balanced. Yes I tried to release it in the Handling
pull down.
In the detail section my dates are 3/72008 Rec.Status is Cleared and clead
date is 3/7/08. I see all the detail here. Now when going to Release GL
Batches the batch number is not there.

So from the Journal Transactions screen, you set the Status to Release Now
and you click on the Finish button on the toolbar? Then what happens? Does
the status window come up? Do you get an error? Have you checked the error
log?

yes clicked on finish button. Everything looks normal as past journal
transactions. No errors no popups. All transcations balanced. Have not
checked error log will do so.
