Is there a way to turn this off? We keep inventory on hand for fleet
maintenance and repairs, and want to be able to keep the paperwork flowing,
regardless of whether or not the receipts have moved through the system.
Currently, this is holding us up. We have also experienced this error even
though the quantity IS on hand to be able to issue out. We have tried to
uncheck the box in each of the Inventory Items Maintenance screens,
Information tab, for "Verify Quantities", but only some items will
allow us
to do so. The error is "System Message 143, This field cannot be
changed".
