| Can I access Source Safe without using web? |

I have been using StarTeam for a few years and now that I am using
SourceSafe version 8.0 when trying to open a project from source control in
Visual Studio 2005 it only seems to want to let me do it with an http
address and a unc file share.
I do not want to access it this way as I do not want the code exposed over
the web. The VSS database and my Visual Studio are on the same small box.
Can't this be accessed directly like it used to be able to in previous
versions and if so how? Thank you.
