If you are paying for receipt, contest each and every charge with AT&T, the
cost to them in that instance is far more than the loss of 15¢.
The nuisance might also be a motivator.

We're receiving Text message spam on ATT wireless from
sma-extension-user@google.com
Att advised sending a stop notice via text message. As expected that has
done no good.
Any recommendations on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

Too true, and I found out you pay .15 for each text received, unless you
have some sms or mms plan.
It's no effin wonder the networks love text at 30cents a message.
In other countries text is popular because it's cheaper than a call. The
text equivalent of a 1 minute call is $$$.
Don't ya love unregulated mono/megalopolies? Well not quite monopoly, we do
have a limited choice between a very few large providers all of whom like to
limit our choices. Then there's also the pseudo competition of electrical,
satellite, and cable providers.

Contacting ATT is a big nuisance in and of itself which is why I posted a
desperate request for any info or help I could get on SC.
