Thanks for clearing that up - always used to be the case that MS-Office
apps files between the two were compatible (going back a ways) and it
would have been disappointing/crazy for them to have dropped the support
for the "mixed office" - I would think there are still quite a few of
those. Only (minor) problems encountered were short-term mis-matches
between respective releases (and there were no "viewers" back then -
